In light of recent developments concerning the spread of COVID-19, including numerous Virginia schools and universities electing to cancel face-to-face classes and public events as well as revised estimates from the Virginia Department of Health for the impact of the coronavirus on our area, Blue Ridge School is closing our campus for at least the next two weeks. At present, we are targeting March 29th as the return date, if it is safe for our students to resume on-campus classes at that time. During these two weeks, students will engage in online classes to remain on track with their classwork.

COVID-19 is having an unprecedented impact on the world and on communities across the country and the globe. We speak of the Baron Brotherhood. The ties that bind us extend not only to the boys, but to all of us who feel connected through Blue Ridge School. We are a community and that is its own source of strength as we work through the present challenge together.

We will continue to monitor the pandemic closely and will provide updates as new developments unfold. In the meantime, know that the safety of our students remains our greatest concern.
