On March 20, Blue Ridge School Headmaster Trip Darrin announced that the campus would remain closed until April 23rd. His full statement to parents can be read on our COVID-19 Information page.
Students have resumed their classes on an adjusted schedule using online video conferencing through Zoom. Through this platform, students have regularly meeting classes, Monday through Friday, from 10:00am – 2:45pm. Advisor meetings, college counseling sessions, and student counseling sessions are also happening through video conferencing.
In the coming weeks, the Parents Association will begin holding online meetings to support families during this new distance learning program.
Mr. Darrin is working with fellow administrators and the Board of Trustees on a contingency plan that includes how and when Blue Ridge School would conduct graduation, if that occurs.
