Congratulations to Blue Ridge School football players Tyler Wills ’18, Katiso Tlelima ’18 and Xavier Kane ’19 for earning awards at the 63rd Annual Falcon Club Awards Banquet in Charlottesville on Sunday, January 28.

Xavier garnered a Player of the Week award, Katiso received the BRS MVP Award and Tyler earned the BRS Student Athlete Leadership Award.

The Falcon Club was founded in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 1950 by a group who felt a need to provide a method for recognizing, promoting and helping local students involved in sports. FALCON stands for “From A Little Comes Others’ Needs.”

In addition to the annual football banquet, the organization sponsors a football player-of-the-week recognition, baseball scholarships, and many other events and activities that support local schools and athletes.
