Curriculum Guide

Science

The Blue Ridge School Science Department knows that today, more than ever, science and its applications are a part of everyone’s life. We prepare students for further studies at the college level, as well as ground them with the information they need to make informed decisions as consumers and as citizens. The use of problem-solving techniques, including the scientific method, is stressed to acclimate students to real-life situations.

In addition, we use a variety of teaching methods to give students active learning experiences that increase retention and make science enjoyable.
