Mid-Year Enrollment

YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME AT BLUE RIDGE SCHOOL

Each year many boys join the Baron brotherhood midway through the academic year. Regardless of when a boy arrives on campus, he is welcomed with open arms. If your son is not having a fulfilling academic year at his current school, it’s not too late to turn in a new direction. Discover what Blue Ridge School can do for him. Students at Blue Ridge School enjoy the support of faculty who live on campus, the safety of a rural campus, the guided independence of dorm life, and the strength of forming lifelong friendships with boys from around the world.

Teachers understand the challenges students face when entering a new school. They make arrangements, both during class and daily meeting period, to ensure your son has the foundation to succeed.

Mid-year students are assigned a roommate so they can quickly learn the routine of dorm life. Mid-year freshmen will live on a hall with other freshmen. New students also soon meet their hall parent (an adult living on the hall), hall prefect (a student leader on the hall), and advisor—three people who meet daily with students to ensure they acclimate to life in their new environment.

The process for mid-year enrollment is the same as the process for fall enrollments. You can begin the application process here. Unlike fall enrollment, there is no application deadline for mid-year students.

Limited financial aid is available for students who enter outside of the usual admission cycle. Contact Jamie Miller, Senior Director of Enrollment Management, for more information and financial aid opportunities.

Blue Ridge School was the best decision we could have made for Cole. He is happy, learning, and growing into a man. Most importantly, he has loved his time at BRS. You can not ask for more than that for your son. Not everyone has a positive high school experience. We are so blessed that Cole has.

Now is the time to Apply for Fall 2021
