Mountain Bike Performance Camp
Are you interested in learning the sport of mountain biking? Are you a mountain biker who is looking to improve your skills on a state-of-the-art trail system? Join us for a session of the BRS Mountain Bike Performance Camp this summer. Camp is open to boys and girls, ages 10-14. Spend time each day with members of our award-winning Blue Ridge School Mountain Bike Team coaching staff. Enjoy 15+ miles of professionally blazed mountain bike trails that are carved in the side of the Blue Ridge Mountains (beginner thru advanced trails). Alongside time on the bike, you will learn bike maintenance and strength training tips to help make your time mountain biking fun and exciting. Campers can bring their own bikes or use one from our fleet. There will also be non-biking activities daily including swimming, ultimate frisbee, and rock climbing. Lunch is served each day in the dining hall, all-you-can-eat buffet style.

WHERE?
Our 2020 Mountain Bike Performance Camps take place on the beautiful 750+ acre Blue Ridge School (BRS) campus in St. George, Virginia. Architectural Digest Magazine voted Blue Ridge School one of the most beautiful independent boarding school campuses in America in their March 2018 edition. 15+ miles of trails designed and blazed by Progressive Trail Design of Arkansas. Progressive Trail Design is a renowned trailblazing company that has created some of the best trail systems in the United States. Blue Ridge School is 25 minutes from Charlottesville and 45 minutes from Harrisonburg. Daily transportation options from Charlottesville and Crozet will be provided with pickup/dropoff locations in both areas.

BRS Mountain Bike Performance Camps are run by the Blue Ridge School Outdoor and Residence Life Programs. With over 30 years combined experience on the bike, the Blue Ridge School staff is ready to make your camp experience the most fun you’ve had yet.
HOW MUCH?
Tuition is $340 per session (bus transportation additional $40 per session). Family discounts and multi-session discounts are available. Inquire for details
